Julianne Moore was born in North Carolina. She studied a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from the School of the Performing Arts. Worked in theatre, including as Ophelia in Hamlet at The Guthrie Theatre. Moore appeared in several feature films, she is known for her roles in “El fugitivo” (1993), “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” (1997), “Boogie Nights” (1997), “El gran Lebowski” (1998) and “A map of the World” (1999). In 2014, she won the Best Actress Award for “Maps to the Stars” at the Sitges Film Festival.
