Carla Guimarães was born in Brazil and moved to Madrid in 2001. She is a contributor to the newspaper El País and works at the EFE Agency. She has published two novels “The last days of carnival” and “Peces que rain del cielo”. She has developed the series “Why did men disappear?” (2019) with Pepe Macías and the script for the feature film “O Filho da Puta”. Carla Guimaraes obtained the Premi IV Laboratori d’Escriptura de Guió Cinematogràfic at the Sitges Film Festival in 2016 with “Los invitados”.
