Kate Shenton was born in Staffordshire, she was involved in theatre and film directing. Her first short film was “MODERN GRIM”. When she was studying Filmmaking at the University of Essex, she made a short film called “BON APPETIT” (2010) which premiered at Fright Fest Film Festival. After this time, she moved to London and made her first short documentary called “ON TENDER HOOKS”. In 2012, she made a horror comedy short called “GIMP”, which premiered at London Short Film Festival.
